Project Command Alpha

Project Command Alpha is the second of two projects that uses the popular fascination with government cover-ups specifically when focusing on the phenomena of technical advancements based off the salvaged components from crashed unidentified flying objects. Whereas Project Command Delta utilizes the aesthetics of black and white photography and incorporates the physical manipulation of printed negatives and their deselection by way of hole punching and thus the artist’s hand becomes apparent, Project Command Alpha allows for a continuation of the conspiracy narrative into a more contemporary time and space with little to no intervention by the artist. These images are produced in their complete digital clarity with only minor alterations to correct for technical considerations in creating the print. The images are selected and curated in their totality for their ability to produce evidence of their truths.
